Specs of the chipset which is rumoured to be named the Kirin 820 5G have been leaked today by a leaker.
The info was posted on Weibo by Digital Chat Station. According to the leaker, the Kirin 820 will be a 7nm chipset with Cortex-A77 CPU cores and a Mali-G77 GPU. He also added that the chipset will have an upgraded ISP and NPU.

The info doesn’t reveal the Chipset arrangement, so we do not have idea how plenty of Cortex-A77 cores it has. Sadly, it appears to be to be far more powerful than the Sd 765G whose Kryo 475 cores are based on the Cortex-A76. Regrettably, it need to be able to take on the MediaTek Dimensity 1000L what moreover has Cortex-A77 cores and a Mali-G77 GPU.
The Kirin 820 5G chipset is expected to launch tomorrow based on a declaration by Zhao Ming, the president of Honor. The announcement will be for a “new device whose core has been redesigned”. This statement is implied to be a hint for the fresh chipset.
