Lenovo Z6 Pro supports only 18W quick charging but ships with 27W charger

Whenever various rumors, leaks and teasers from the company, Lenovo at some point launched its flagship cameraphone in China — Lenovo Z6 Pro announced this week. The smartphone is up for pre-orders and is scheduled to go on sale from 29th April.


Now, a Weibo user posted a new reports related to the cameraphone what looks a bit odd. The phone arrives with a 27W charger in the box, but interestingly the cameraphone only support 18W fast charging.

On the Chinese microblogging platfor, the company’s executive said that the charger that arrives with the cameraphone supports USB Power Delivery 3.0 and Qualcomm’s Fast Charge 4.0 standards. So, you could use the charger to charge another phones like well.

The Lenovo Z6 Pro flagship phone features a 6.39-inch AMOLED Full HD+ with screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The notched screen offers an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and comes integrated with a sixth-generation in-screen fingerprint reader which even works with wet fingers.

Inside the hood, the gadget is powered by Qualcomm’s newest 7nm Snapdragon 855 chipset that features 2.84GHz octa-core processor. The smartphone arrives in 6 GB / 8 GB / 12 GB RAM features and its memory variants include 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB.

The Coldfront liquid cooling tech regulates the internal temperature of the gadget. It options 48 MP + 16 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP image sensor sensors on the back with AI Hyper Video feature. On the front side, the smartphone ships with a 32 MP snapper.

The ZUI 11 based Android 9 Pie Operation system arrives pre-loaded on the device and for optimized gaming experience, the handset options Game Turbo game acceleration function. It is fueled by a 4,000mAh battery that carries support for 18W fast charging through USB-C.
