After launching almost 2 months ago, the Redmi Go is now in the world in India. This is the first Android Go cameraphone from Xiaomi/Redmi and just which include other Android Go smartphones, its specifications are low-level.
The Redmi Go has a 5-inch 720p display with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the Sd 425 quad-core processor and is paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory. With a dedicated MicroSD card tray that lets you add up to 128GB of memory, you shouldn’t have to worry about running out of space.
There is a 5MP digital camera for selfies with AI Beautify and an 8MP camera with LED flash on the back. The camera app is said to have 13 alternative filters, 11 different scenes, and an HDR mode. The smartphone can also record videos in Full hd.
The Redmi Go operates on Android Oreo (Go Edition) out of the box even though Android Pie (Go Edition) is presently available. The cameraphone comes with apps which includes Mail Go, YouTube Go, and Maps Go. There is In addition Google Assistant (Go Edition) with support for over 5 languages which include Hindi. There is a 3,000mAh battery under the hood that charges via a MicroUSB port. It moreover has a 3.5mm audio jack at the bottom but no IR digital camera. The Redmi Go has dual SIM support but does not support dual 4G. There is Bluetooth 4.2 and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi for connectivity.
The cameraphone comes in blue and black and will sell for INR 4,499 (~$65). It will be out there for purchase by 12 PM on March 22.
